I just Googled 'altberg boots size 9' and lots of links came up.

Couldn't be bothered to open them; not least as some looked like EBay / Gumtree / God knows what.... Suggest you start there, if nothing better comes along.

Good hunting.

PS There's a thread with some fellow ranting about Altberg's inablilty to sell boots on demand; though lots of bods seem to own them, so it can't be that difficult, unless summat's changed. In the same thread bods suggested German Para Boots as a great (no doubt, tactical) alternative, suggesting Silvermans' emporium, not a million miles away from where your faithful scribe sits now.

PPS They were very insistent about the German bit. Do not be mislead by French, Japanese......or Samoan. Though I do doubt that they do Samoan in dainty size 9's and a Samoan free fall paratrooper would be something to see, though not from underneath, obviously.

Me? I like Daytona boots; they are German too (thumbs)

you will find lots of altbergs on ebay but not hoggs the only real difference between the hogg and normal boots is the extra patch of leather on the toe for gear change and the harder insole.

12 years ago I was in Richmond, called in and was lucky to get a pair of Clubman calf length boots that i still have. they still look like new, and have remained in service for 12 years. I have used them to walk the dogs, ride my bikes, and even go to shows and outdoor events as they are so comfortable.

Only change I would make is to get the ones with velcro fasteners up the side rather than buckles and straps.
Not for the look, but its a bugger bending over to do them up.
