Bike Tuning near London

Post by KKat »

Does anyone know a shop or person who can tune an XR600r near London? I have a couple of small glitches I need looked at...the bike has a carb from a CRF 450 I believe and at full throttle some times it seems to flood its self or something, loses power for a moment then is fine until opened up again...I would also like the suspension tuned too...

Thanks in advance.

The early years did. Mine did (1985 model I think), and a 17 inch rear which was a pain.

check the air filter is clean

and check the fuel filter, might be dirty and causing fuel restriction

also, maybe try turning the petrol tank tap or petcock to the reserve position and see does that make any difference, just in case theres a problem with the petcock or tank tap that's causing fuel restriction to the carbs etc etc
