A Week Without Web Access

Post by Alun »

I can't remember the last time I went a week without any news or web access – you can even get web access at Everest Base Camp these days. But I have to say that once the first couple of anxious 'what's going on' days are over the mind declutters to the point that I could remember what it was like to travel in the 80's. Is relaxation now something that can only be achieved when you're away from a mobile phone signal or on line access?

Oh, I forgot to mention the downside - I've arrived back to over 700 emails.

It matters not what you have or where you take it ........... Every ride is an adventure and every motorbike was built for adventure.

Hi Jack. I'm just about to make an executive decision and it's called 'delete'.

It does create a very great feeling of freedom when you are not tied to your mobile or laptop, something we all should be forced to do at least one weekend a month but as you mention the down side is the backlog of mails and deleting is the answer
