Another recommendation.. if you're visiting Oradour, a nice campsite near Cognac-La-Foret, called 'Camping Des Alouttes' run by a German couple who speak English, and about 20 mmins from Oradour.

Looking for recommendations on campsites near limoges

I will be using limoges as a stop over en route to the pyrenees

I've stayed there 3 times. Quiet, clean, cheap and a restaurant. It's as St Germaine les Belles, just south of Limoges.
