Some of the rallies/ sections of rallies were tough last year for the Adventure bikes - anyone interested in an Adventure Bike route option on some events?

That may be enough to tempt me into leaving my stinkwheel at home and dragging out my overweight Tenere.

If you do it by bypassing the normal special stage and giving the adventure bikes one not quite as special you might encourage a few more riders to just ride there, do the event and ride home. You'd have to be a bit careful regarding how much they could be modified before they become a rally bike but if it gets a few more riders out there competing it'd be great (thumbs)

Looks good, has anyone got any POV footage of last years stages, just to get an idea of what type of bike to bring, but do like the sound of a less technical stages :) for the bigger ADV bikes ( if I'm reading that right  ).

Burt,
I recon (FWIW) we don't need an "Adventure" bike option, part of the fun is forcing a bike with no ground clearance round with all the others! Add that to the ride there/back and one gets a whole heap of adventure riding in a weekend!

For everyone else, this series is very friendly and gives a great reason to ride your bike to far flung edges of England/Wales then get 1 or 2 days of unsurfaced riding in!
Do it, you won't be disappointed! :)

Stewie you would get round no problem on the Aprilla unless a mud fest ensued even then you would do it just with a lot more effort.
