How easy are the Ardcase panniers to fit?

It looks like they come with a mounting kit which needs to be fitted to the panniers by drilling them.

Have any of you guys fitted them and how easy was it?

Thanks!

I fitted mine last week to my S10 its not hard, strap the panniers to your side racks use ratchet straps or whatever you have available, get them postioned how you want them, i got the missus to sit on the bike to check leg clearance first, set the pucks in postion, they should already have some double sided tape on them to keep them in postion while you drill the holes, Tip. The top two outer bolts stop the cam from coming undone so they need to be aligned correctly, i drilled the holes, bolted everything together and test fitted, then took the pucks off and fitted the strenghtening plates, they go on the inside of the panniers, held in place initially with a g clamp marked and drilled the holes, then put a bit of sillycone sealant between the strenghtening plate and the panniers and a dab in holes then bolt everything back together.

It realy is as easy as Iffy says but one option others have done is ride down to Rogers and he has fitted them for people

Failing that give me a PM, I guess I'm not that far from you

I might need to take you up on that! I've a couple of days off work in August which might enable me to ride down to Rogers but its going to be tight as I need panniers for the last weekend in August for a trip up to Scotland.

I didn't realise there was so much drilling, for some reason I thought the fittings would be attached.

I'm hoping to speak with Roger today and get them ordered. By the way, hoping to pick up my Rev'It Sand gear this week!
