Cleaning white plastics

Post by Harty »

Does anyone know if my plastics can be cleaned back to white, but without using anything too abrasive. The marks are from my GiantLoop which obviously rub onto the plastics. Cheers

Acetone. If you don't want to get a whole tin of it use nail varnish remover.

try white vinegar, that cleans just about everthing.

might want to soak it for a few hours in a water and white vinegar mix in a pan

you can also add a few drops of lemon juice to the water and vinegar mix,

now i never cleaned plastic with it, but i used this mix to clean alot of things.

brought them up like new so it did after i let them soak in it for 24 hours,

not sure, but you might want to check if it brings off paint
