I've used a pair of these for a couple of years.
But they're no longer connecting.
Everything starts up ok, get the message rider A connected, but then nothing.
Still work with my Garmin or iphone.
I've tried a couple of known fixes but nothing.
Anyone know of a repair centre?

Re: Scala rider G4 repair agent?
There is a common fault with these, they loose pairing and connection. I have had my F4 back and forth to be sorted. Eventually they have changed them for the 2013 spec model, so far so good.
This was all done through Get Geared in Leeds, can't remember who the agent is but I'm sure if you give them a call they will tell you who the agent is.
Cheers Dave.

Re: Scala rider G4 repair agent?
similar problems here too. One of the pair receives ok and the other sends OK - so a one way conversation. On the other of the pair I think it is either that the AGC is so sensitive it mutes everything, or it is transmitting a very weak low volume signal.
Scala said reset each device then re-pair them. Sometimes this clears it up, for a short while anyway; sometimes leaving them on, paired and in a quiet place works too. Sometimes hooking them up to the computer and changing the settings a round works too, or doing it manually using the voice commands can work as well.
Sorry no proper fix, but to be honest I am completely fed up with them - thinking about returning them but they are nearly three years old now.

I've had a couple of issues with mine (loss of signal to one speaker) and sent them back to Scala in the States - very helpful guys and quick turn around.

What seems to have sort of fixed mine is the following:
Uninstall then reinstall version 3 of the G4 software
As I am only using as an intercom I disabled VOX.
AGC set at medium
Always Switch on the set that I think has the problem first
Open mike by pressing button A before setting off
Close mike as soon as we stop and switch off altogether if we are stopping for more than few minutes.
It's still not perfect but any weak connections seem to cure themselves after a few minutes. I must write to Cardo again as it looks like a software problem to me.
