Air compressor tyre pump

Post by Snowdog »

Can anyone recommend a good one? Price less than important for something reliable that packs small? I ride a GSA but ideally I want something that I can carry all the time even when I've not got topbox and panniers attached.

Got a Slime pump not huge but wouldn`t think it would fit under a seat (bugger all room on gs800) just don`t plug it into can bus socket as it will trip.

I bought based on this review and am very impressed with the Airman, very fast and compact, blows up BMW tyres as proven on the bakery run. Image http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/motorcyc ... n-sparrow/

One thing you do need to know most 12v pumps will trip the canbus on a GS. I have wired the Hella take off under the seat direct to avoid such scenarios.

I use this one:

I have one for the bike, one for the car and one as a spare.

They are cheap and fairly precise.

They do need a 12V plug though.
