Yip , You got it ..

I must say that my sat nav does not save the routes , cheapy as you saw , but does the job for £50

But goggle maps and google street view are very handy for plotting where to go .


Or , if out driving , on seeing a little road , wondering where does that go .. then getting lost .. LOL

No problemo, we use it for planning green lane routes , for example finding a lane either side of a farmyard,etc. Grid refs are there too. You can also drag the view along a chosen route.And its free (the best bit)
