Honda Transalp 600 - Swap

Post by Szabi »

Hello

I have a Honda XL600V 1991 Transalp and I would consider swapping it for a more off road based bike, for example Suzuki Djebel 250, or DR 350. Preferably with large fuel tank for a good range.

Some info about the bike:

It has been imported from Germany, but it is UK registered long time ago (Still has the German documents)
-5 owners
-Approximately 49,000 miles
-Very reliable V-Twin engine
-Almost new Bridgestone B45 tyres
-The oil filer, oil and air filer has been replaced less then 500 miles ago
-7 months MOT
-7 months Road Tax
-The frame has been powder coated by the previous owner
-Comes with V5, owners manual, shop manual, german paperwork

The bike is in a really good condition for it's age.

The bad bits:
-Home made screen attached to the original screen, which does work well, but if you decide to remove it, you'll have 4 little holes on the original screen.
-Small scratch on the fuel tank

I have over 30 good quality photos from the bike.

Let me know if you are interested and you have something what I am interested in.

I would be also interested in a Suzuki DL 650 V-Storm bike.
Basically I need a good range bike, which I can also use off road. The Transalp is a very good bike, but I would need a larger tank to have a good range.

Also, the CDI cushion has been replaced with the upgraded one, therefore you will not have any issues with the CDI units. The CDI units are now not pushed by the seat.
This was a common issue for the XL600V models.
