ARMR MOTO WXP-10 GLOVES

Post by Oldie »

I bought a pair of these gloves which were reviewed in this month's mag. Really good quality and feel great, but they are a very neat fit so you might want to order a size bigger than normal, especially if you need them over winter and like to wear liners inside your gloves. As for me, well, I'm just going to have to man the ... up

Got mine from Castle Motorcycles in Castleford....they also had a range of jackets and trousers by ARMR, all with the waterproof / breathable membrane and appeared to be very good quality. £99 for a jacket that looks like it cost 3 times that? Yes please!!

Hi Guys

I'm thinking of getting a pair of these. I'd love to hear your comments now after some cold and wet use if possible please.

For the look and price alone, as well as PJ's write up in the mag, they seem very good!

Your ratings please????

So far pretty impressed. Worn these a few times now - seem very well constructed, very comfortable, good protection but not to 'Robocop'. Sizing seems spot on - I generally wear a large glove and the sizing is just right (for me), can wear inside my jacket cuffs ok. Warmth wise seem just right for this time of year (3 season) might be a bit cool for cold winter days (but I've got mitts for those days). Can't comment yet on the waterproofness, but will do as soon as they've had a good soaking.

I've never spent more than £50ish on gloves over the years, and these are looking a good choice for that amount of money.

Also clever package - they can be tried on without destroying the packaging, then repackaged should you wish to return them.

Well worth the 9/10 ABR rating.

Had mine nearly 2 weeks now....done about 350 miles in all weathers and they have stood up to the job very well. I am indeed impressed!

Got a soaking on the way home from work last night and the gloves stayed dry inside. :)

Are these designed to be winter gloves?

Am curious about these, as I was considering a pair of Halvarssons Beryl gloves for the cold season.

I'm really happy with mine. Tested in cold & wet over the last 2 months. The protection, comfort & quality is astonishing at this price. Highly recommended. More styles now available in wxp range.
