Sadly the flashpoint of diesel is between 52-95 degrees centigrade so a blowtorch would be needed to get the derv burning . { whats really SAD is that I can recall this totally bl**dy pointless fact on a Sunday no less } . Hey Largewayround ,fit shell stn is it onywi ?

Its the Shell Garage on the roundabout in front of Makro , Wellington Road .
Watch yerself if you go in there..
Funny the other shell , 500 yards on the other side of the dual carriageway is fine .

It`s sad to hear that a Shell petrol stn which is within sight of Shell`s european HQ is as poor as this . I wonder if a concerned Biker would get a hearing fom them if he or she walked into their hq and asked to complain about one of their franchises ,which is showing such total disregard for customer safety and bringing the Shell name into disrepute amongst such a large and vocal customer group [ us bikers , fairweather or not ] ?

Yes Dave , The HQ is only 5 minutes away.
Maybe I should make sure my helmetcam is running next time , I ask about the diesel spills . And take it down to them at HQ ..
I used to work there sometimes, and you could not drop a pen without the health & safety guy , running out with his clipboard.
