ABR Chilterns Rally Feedback
ABR Chilterns Rally Feedback
Right Guys and Girls
WHAT WAS GOOD,WHAT WAS BAD, HOW CAN WE IMPROVE THE EXPERIENCE.
I will ask this in a number of headings and be honest, we can only improve if you give us honest feedback and don't hold back I can take it
Information about the event
Questions dealt with in a speedy manner
Directions, check in to Rally and updates dealt with
Camp Site facilities
Ride options explained
Food options (Did you like Chilli - was it too hot) Don't care you weren't cooking it until stupid hours on Thurday night )
Overall experience
Would you come again (say no to this and go Norfolking Around instead or the Boil  )
Anything else
Thanks in advance hopefully you had a good experience, if not let me know.
Love GOG 007

Re: ABR Chilterns Rally Feedback
Brilliant time, camped Friday only and did the road ride. I was slightly concerned about going on my own as it's my first ABR rally, so don't know anyone, I needn't have worried, very welcoming and all including, fab weekend.Only small negative was the lack of facilities at the site, but it was an Adventure weekend

Itchy, It's gona be my first ABR rally at the Boil and I'm slightly concerned about being on me own as a lass cos I don't know anyone. Any tips for a Bongo Burns going on me own? Was there many lasses there? I don't want to be the only female at the Boil rally Oh one more question will I be coming out of me tent and seeing all men facing the hedge having pee?
Re: ABR Chilterns Rally Feedback
there was a few ladies, I kept looking at hedges but alas no action, lmao.
Honestly it was like meeting old friends, you'll love it

Well ?
I had to peel off after the "On ye'r bike stop" as I had to get back to London, but I must say GOG had done an immense and impressive job with the organising of this weekend. He had every last detail covered as far as I could see.
Showers were a bit of a trek from the field (but then I'm a lazy ar*e and I rode the bike to them anyway)
Main road was a bit noisy and it got too dark too early Friday night (but that's March for ya').This sort of thing though, is always in the hand of the gods.
For once I was at an event where I knew less than fifty percent of people, which made it nice for hearing new tales and anecdotes from complete strangers ! Nice too,to meet the old "Elephant" boys. Barftone (unexpectedly) from Bath and a few other old mates !
Yes - I'm only sorry I couldn't have stayed longer (and gone over Tramps maps, proper like ! )
