aberdeen area , loan of bike ramp
HI Guys
I just posting to see if anyone in the aberdeen / aberdeenshire area would have a bike ramp that you could loan me for the ullapool rally .
The ramp would have to be able to support a Transalp 650 into the back of a transit type van.
I would collect and return ..
Anyone

Sorry I can't help mate, I use the tailgate off my trailer for mine but it's not really long enough for your needs.
If you're stuck stuck, Willie Young has in stock sitting at the bottom of the stairs so at least you could buy one if need be. I think they're around £50?
Sorry mate.

You might think I am taking the pi**, but have you though about using an alloy ladder? You might be surprised as to how strong they are. I have seen my mate put his quad in the van using 2 ladders.
Andy.
Andy.
Grumpy auld man.

Or drag some strong mates out the pub to give ya a lift in
Ive used an alll ladder with a scafoold board before, I put the van jack under the middle of it to give it some support.
