Thought I should raise my head above the parapet now that the Ullapool rally is drawing near. We cannot thank Dubber enough for taking on this crazy mission to help the kids in our care.
As I am sure you know "Curry-aid" is a small local charity which helps orphaned children in Tamil-Nadu India. Unlike many larger organisations all of the money that we receive goes straight to the children.

Bit of a bump and an update. Fitted a Givi A660 screen today courtesy of the Vanvan forum. New giant loop arrives tomorrow and soon time for a trial overnight. Will post pics tomorrow of everything fitted. Gary from adventure bike warehouse is delivering it and the saved delivery cost is being donated to curry aid.

Good on you, I done Glasgow to ullapool last year on my wee varadero last year and that was a slog but a very good ride, I probably seen more of the views than the boys on the big bikes though
I will donate my £1 Scottish note to your cause and buy you a beer for the hard run up, see you in ullapool

Cheers Paul

Well loaded up the bike with all the kit that will be going to Ullapool and took her for a quick 70 miles if such a thing can be done on a Vanvan. The giant loop works really well and has the added benefit of providing excellent lumbar support. It is a good fit on the bike and clears the exhaust well but I have fitted the heat shield just in case. A few pics below.

Has anyone any advice around petrol station spacing and opening times in Northern Sotland. I will have 200ish mile range including the spare petrol tank and was wondering whether to take more.
