Rab Generator Pull-on

Post by bald260 »

Just bought a Rab Generator Pull-on, to use instead of the 'thermal' lining in my jacket. It is pertex, with a lining of Primaloft, which is what is used in snythetic sleeping bags. Very light and incredibly warm for it's weight, it folds up into a small pocket! Also apparently still insulates when wet, but I've not tried that yet. Not cheap, but reasoanble with discounts available.

Welcome to ABR and congrats on buying the Rab, a great piece of kit. :)

A dedicated outer waterproof shell with a separate thermal liner is the way to go.

I've used an older version of one of these for two or three years. By far the warmest coat for it's weight and bulk I've ever used. Packs down well too.
Just along for the ride.

+1 they are superb bits of kit. The Berghaus ones are just as good too!

I have the generator jacket and love it. Warm, light comfy and not too bulky to wear under my leather jacket.
