The Gower

Post by Alun »

Hello All, I'm checking out for a few days and heading down to the Gower in South Wales. If you've not been there, you're missing out - it was the 1st area of the UK to be designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

Better still the weather is looking perfect.

If you've not been to the Gower - here it is. It's also one of the main surfing centres in Wales

And here's another - that's Worms Head Island in the background. At low tide it's possible to walk over a causeway to the island.

It must have been stunning there this weekend ?
It matters not what you have or where you take it ........... Every ride is an adventure and every motorbike was built for adventure.

One of the best beaches in the country Jack, and only 12 miles from Swansea - though you'd never know it. The campsite we were at was just behind the big dunes in the distance and it was full of VW vans and surfer dudes and many of the older ones were past or present bikers.
