I did this run at the end of April in glorious sunshine ,fantastic roads .can anyone turn up on the day ? i don"t know how i will be fixed with work but it would be great to get a run out .

Of course you can just pitch up - always welcome and saves on camping - cheap as chips!
You do not have to camp out or anything else, you can just come down on the morning and ask about joining the ride outs mate - see you there!
