Hello,

Post by Breva »

Hello everyone another newbie signing in, last month I traded in my trusty Transalp for the bike I have been lusting after for quite a while a Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 with all the extras I ever wanted and more . Hope to do a Europe tour next year or maybe another visit to Scotland ( we live 15 mins away from Dover docks so are we mad thinking of Scotland again? ) with the other half but not sure where yet, so at the moment I/we are looking for ideas and advice . Italy is the obvious choice with a visit to the Moto Guzzi Museum/Factory.

Ian.

Hello and welcome to the forum Breva. I just checked out where the museum is and...you've just got to go. Mandello del Lario, on the banks of Lake Como in the Italian Alps.

My favorite part of the world, if you discount the Dolomites.

Hello, I just joined as well and also have a guzzi :) . If you are thinking of mandello, next year is the 90th anniversary of the factory and they usually organise something round about september, but if you are going in august the museum will most probably be shut for the holidays (as is the rest of italy )
who dares, bins
