Has anbody here got a Supershirt 2?
I need some new protection and am looking at this AS product. Lots of rave reviews but also some adverse comments about fit, particularly in neck area and waist riding up for some users.
About 12 years ago I tried a Forcefield prodct but found it lacked ventilation and made me sweat like a pig

Needed washing ever night during a long hot trip and was uncomfortable during the day so I'm cautious about another close fitting armoured shirt.
So any real world feedback from Supershirt users would be appreciated.

I have the Klim one
It’s excellent and well vented and armour fits in the right places
Like wearing a second skin
It bought it secondhand, but new (with the labels & receipts) and unused from ukgser for half the RRP

I just use an Axo MX armour over a baselayer.
One-piece protection for the chest, full-length back protector, plus protection on elbows and shoulders, and an integral bodybelt.
More protection at a fraction of the price.

So given the lack of replies, I guess not many have stumped up their hard earned for one of these.
Interesting given AS's marketing push on social media.
My search continues....

I've had one since they came out.
I wear a thin Helly Hansen shirt underneath. Never had any problem with getting too sweaty or it getting stinky on long trips.
It's a great bit of kit, combined with the Linesman Jacket if required, or on hot wet days, just a waterproof over the top.
I always wear mine when I'm out for more than a day. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Tufty, thanks for the reply.
Why only if you're out for more than one day?

Hello,
Depends what I'm doing really. If I'm riding green lanes I'll wear it, but I also have a Linesman jacket with armour in, so sometimes I'll just put that on.
If I'm away for a weekend or on holiday, then I'll wear it, because then I'll have a Linesman jacket without armour, which I can wear as a casual jacket in the evenings or sight-seeing. It's a great jacket and I actually take it on family holidays too.
When you've got the S-S on, you forget you're wearing it it's that comfortable.
