Vee rubber trial tyres
I'm entering a LDT for the first time in many years and can't get hold of my prefered X11 tyres at a decent price and am considering Vee rubber VRM308 for the front and possibly rear, any opinions on them.

Re: Vee rubber trial tyres
I had Vee Rubber enduro tyres as OE fitment on my Gas Gas Pampera when it was new.
"they will be rubbish," I thought. They were actually excellent, and when they wore out they were replaced 'like for like'. Very easy to fit, Can't remember ever getting a puncture.
They won a TBM 'blind' shoot out against the big Euro brands.
So if the trials tyres are anything like them, they will be good.
I've got a lot of respect for Pirelli trials tyres: mine have stood up to a lot of road miles and abuse, and the front tyre has excellent lateral grip.
If you want it, there's a half-worn Mitas Trials 400.18 you can pick up from my place. It's done a couple of LDTs and some trail riding.

Re: Vee rubber trial tyres
Thanks Richard, I've just been through the tyre pile and have binned some old X11rear Michelins but found a rear Dunlop trials and noticed an XR200 beyond that with an X11 front. I think that is going to pressed into service as the trial is mostly dirt tracks and some small roads, hopefully it will be dry and the half worns will be all I need.
Jubilee trial in Somerset if you fancy a late entry.
