Mystery Black BMW Key

Hello everyone i got a New to me F700GS Last week and had it Delivered to my home. It came with 2 Ignition Keys and 2 Pannier Keys . There is Also a Smaller Black BMW Key It will Turn on the Ignition also. What is the Purpose of the Smaller Black Key ? Any info would be Great Cheers Francis

Hello mate,

Is it just a sad little plastic key? If it is, it’s like the cheap, get out of an emergency key, that they gave me with my bike. It has no battery but can get you home, no idea how.

its a wallet spare key to get you home if you lose main key

Looks like the third key is something previous owner had made.

Thank You Everyone , I thought it might be something to do with getting a Extra Key cut or something like that. I will store it in the house as i always Carry my Spare set of Keys when out on the Bike, As the Spare set sitting in the house 100 Miles away would not be any use ,My mate from work used to do that and when i said they are no use to you sitting in the house when you are 100 Miles from there but he just said well at least i know they are there ?
