Tin Selwyn
has now taken this on
Yule tide rally.
8-10th Dec 2023
The Fox and Hounds Hotel
Ledford, Devon UK, EX20 4HF
Between Okehampton an Tavistock on the A 386
Web site. foxandhoundshotel.com
Email [email protected]
Phone. 01822 820206
A large pub with six bedrooms, two four bed bunk rooms, and a large campsite to the rear, bring what you like, tent camper or caravan. Toilets and showers available.
Under the bunkhouses is a skittle ally we can use, or there is ample room in the pub to sit and chat.
The pub does good food at lunchtime and in the evenings, there will be a buffet style breakfast that you will have to put your name on a list for.
Tents and camping is £15 per night per person, this can be paid on arrival,
no need to book but I would like some idea of how many want to come.
Bunkhouse and rooms in the pub( please look at their website to see the rooms) are £65 single or £ 90 double room. You must book these in advance with the pub .first come first served basis.
We will as usual be collecting for the air Ambulance, bring all your unwanted heir looms for the auction and lots of cash to buy them with !
There will be an organised ride out on sat morning setting off at 10 am, please make sure your bike is full of fuel before getting to the pub.
For any more info you can ring me on 07774 705954
If you are coming could send me an e mail ( subject Yule tide )with your name, contact details, how you are staying and if you want to go on the ride out.

15 quid a night to pitch a tent seems a bit steep. We only had to pay £5:00 for the Ecky Thump on a perfectly good field with excellent facilities for us to use.

For the UK thats cheap--but just a bit more than France of course. In the overall scheme of things the cost of camping compared to fuel, food, gear and so on (plus the odd pint) is pretty insignificant--why bother to post your negative reason rather than just not post at all. People put a lot of effort into giving up their time etc to organise such events.

its a problem with camping fees some pubs are brilliant and dont charge .the Lower Lode didnt charge i gave the landlady £500 and the rest to the air ambulance £800 or so ,, i charged £15 for the weekend 3 night if you wanted ,,

then others are taking the piss £15 in December is bit steep but lets see what they offer ,,
