Selling my daily commuter for the last 4 years. If anything needed doing, it was done as this was my only transport option. I bought it off my local mechanic who had been storing it for a customer who worked abroad, so in 2019 I got this bike with 20 000 miles on it. I have been all over but mainly a mixed motorway and A road commute everyday. Its not a garage queen.
Mechanically solid and has not let me down.
Comes with full BMW luggage, power socket, voltage meter, Wunderlich adjustable touring screen. Front shock is new 7 000 miles or so ago and rear was refurbed by T Tech suspension at the same time with a heavier spring. Just replaced the clutch micro switch as well, and stainless connectors under the tank
Mods:
GS1150 foot hangers making it lower. Centre stand removed and available. It has been modified to work with the bike but I have taken it off. It’s a mini 1150 GS

It’s a servo model and I haven’t had any issues with it, ABS module was replaced by BMW at 17k in 2008.

Bad bits
I don’t clean it so pics are of bike as it is today. I had it cleaned once by some valet company at ABR Festival and those pics are also included
Rear subframe has light rusting (light, sand down and re paint job)
Front engine cover is practically flaked off, so that is one I’d probably do
Pinhole dent on top of tank (pictured)
Wheel rim front has signs of wear. Again, none of these make riding the bike any less lovely. Regularly get 45 mpg
