Didnt know it was there

Just got back from a 5 day trip up Scotland.
Weather was cold but dry and very often sunny.
Roads, were in places a right mess, and I would deem them dangerous if wet as the holes would maybe be full of water.
On a brighter side. I have been going up to Skye quite a few times over the last 25 years and never seen this.
You can walk to see it but cant park there. Its about 300 yds from a parking area though. I took this pic on me phone too, so no fancy cameras.
The calmness and clarity of the water was incredible. I put it on my missis Tablet as a wallpaper background. It looks even better on a bigger screen

Scotland is always worth a visit whether rain or shine.
I try to go up early May as I think its best for dryness and less midgits
I know everyone has taken this image. I must have done it loads of times in the mornings from the carpark visiting area or evenings from the jetty. I cant believe we had 5 calm days with quite a lot of sun. Ok cool mostly 5c. Its 453miles from my place= 8 hrs 10min yesterday

668 for me, or I’d be up there more often. On the other hand, Channel ports are 25 miles

Having family in Scotland means I have visited the West Highlands on a regular basis since I was a child, but it was only in 2021 that I rode a motorbike there for the first time, amazing.

I plan to be back this year, postponed from last year due to a family bereavement and I can't wait!
