Re: Exeter Trial
Just back from a storm-tossed event.
With an early sectioned cancelled, we were surprised by about 20 very soggy motorcyclists arriving at Fingle before the course-opening car and the ambulance!
Everyone seemed in good spirits given the conditions.
Huge range of bikes including 2 x Moto Morini 500 Sahara V-twins, 2 x KTM 950s, a Dakar BMW R80GS, a hard-tail Norton, several Triumph Tiger Cubs, a Triumph T5R Adventurer, a Honda Inova, and the more conventional trail and enduro bikes.
Entry of both cars and bikes somewhat depleted by the weather.
I hope everyone got home safely...I'll put some pics up shortly...sadly not many motorbike pics. I didn't want to be using flash for obvious reasons.

Re: Exeter Trial
Remember when this was considered a big trail bike...it looks half the size of a modern GS

Re: Exeter Trial
You can do the MCC trials on a standard lightweight roadbike, but you'll probably bend an indicator!

Fingle Bridge from the UPSTREAM side...with the water flow causing a reverse shockwave

Re: Exeter Trial
Great set of clips from Slippery Sam, one of the later sections.
And if you think you could do better, these riders had done maybe 20 hours through a dark, wet and windy night to get this far

Yes........20 odd hours in a mid 80's non breathable plastic RUKKA suit is gonna leave your underpants soaking even if the riding doesn't
(except maybe that Kwaka ? barely braking a sweat going up !)
