I've a couple of bikes around the 750 mark. An XRV750 with 61 BHP and I think around 210 dry, the other one has 140BHP and is 168 dry . I've probably had at least two dozen AT's over the years and It's been a real love affair, but the 168 kilo's of MV Agusta is with out doubt the best bike I've ever owned (and there's been some ). It's brings joy just looking at it and pumps the adrenaline every time I ride it. I've heard say it can be a real Diva, so what ! I love all the badly translated sales blurb, It even came with a wooden presentation box full of unnecessary shit, but hey that's Italian passion (which I never actually got, but now I do ! )
I just can't see the point in knocking every new bike 'cause it don't suite the spec's we want ........ Till the MV came along my besty was (well still is sort of) my 62 year old Greeve's Scottish - no horse power, no weight, no lights. I could have sold it to fund the MV, but I sold my 701 instead. The 701 was an amazing new bike, but it didn't suit my best needs as the Greeve's does but I'll never start slating the 701 just because it's gone.
The Italians use the word Diva, back when bikes like the Greeve's were new we used the English translation of Diva - *Oily piece of sh-t* ! but you'd still be in love with it.
