RIP Carolyn Grace

Not anything to do with motorcycles, so far as I know, but Carolyn Grace appeared regularly on TV in programmes on aviation history and engineering. Her two-seater Spitfire is arguably the coolest restoration of any mechanical object ever!
She took a lot of old WWII fighter RAF pilots for 'final flights' in her Spitfire a few years back,. Ironically, she inherited it as a part-restored project when her husband was killed in a car accident. She completed the project in his memory, then got herself trained to fly the thing 30-odd years ago! Now she's gone the same way.
The plane itself served with the RAF before being converted to a two-seater, and was the first allied aircraft to down a German aircraft on D-Day.
