Fantastic ride report. Totally inspired me to get a map yesterday and start planning a trip out that way for next May.
Thanks

Potes is over to the right of the photo.
Edit. I’m sorry about the quality of the photo, I don’t know what this forum has done to it, it’s crystal clear on my screen.

Thanks for the comments all. Great pics of the Vultures P. There were loads of Raptors spotted on our travels - a good indicator of a healthy environment.
S.Harper - I find Google maps with the terrain layer on helps me seek out good roads - once you find one you can have a look round on street view to check it out. I also always carry a map of the area too as back up - oh and a sat nav ( used occasionally when I'm really stuck lol)
It was a great trip with great company with lots of laughs along the way.
A special thanks to Barry for leading & including areas the rest of us had wished to see. Also to Allan who provided me with the GPS routes that his Sat Nav saved - helped me big time in putting the ride report together. Also good to have two younger generation come along on their 1st overseas trip on two wheels.
The Husky 401 has to get a mention - carried its rider & luggage with no bother for the trip

I also have a soft spot for the Yam T700 too after observing Steve's during the trip - a great bike

Good range & plenty of power for a trip like this & definitely on my short list for my next bike when the time comes. ( going to be between it and a late GS800 I reckon)
