When I first started doing trips I camped but as a light sleeper struggling to sleep I drifted to B+B, hostels etc, sometime ago the relative cost of B+B's seemed to go up, on the fly hostel availability seems to have reduced pushing me back toward camping plus also when winging it on the trails wild camping has quite a few advantages, Current B+B costs in rip-off UK are crazy for my usual style of non pre- booking, Eating appears to be following a similar trend hence this thread.
