Received my renewal notice, £142 I noticed that they were going to automatically renew it, as I’m on holiday I emailed them telling them not to do so, I had a quick look at the quotes I’d got from various compare sites & the best is £101 from Principal & £108 from Bennett’s, then I noticed a quote among them for £115 from Devitt’s who I’m with now, I thought I’d read somewhere that ins companies had to now offer the same rate at renewal that they offer a new customer, obviously not?
The trouble is if you look at reviews every company gets good n bad reviews, so that’s not any help either.

Just renewed with Hastings. £74 last year £96 this year. Looked on Go Compare, cheapest Carole Nash at £61. Rang Hastings to tell them not to auto renew and told the there were 40 quotes cheaper on Go Compare and one was from themselves. After some waffle and confirming all my details were the same as last year the did it for £60. Worth 10 minutes on the phone to India.

I use a multi bike policy and includes full EU breakdown cover and legal costs. The breakdown cover has no restriction on the ages of the bikes. Mine are 1983 - 1996.
