Anyone fitted a better replacement zip as the bottom connector has become detached from its webbing and can’t be resewn.
It seems to be a commonish occurrence but it’s too old to be under warranty even though I’ve only used it 20 or 30 times.

Find the biggest heaviest best quality zip you can and then get someone who does sail repairs , or other heavy sewing work , to put it in. An ordinary sewing machine will never touch it.
