We were to link up with Heff and Gubbo of this parish the following day, typically the day that the forecast was giving rain over most of Scotland for most of the day.
We would make arrangements in the morning as to where we would meet up and where we would spend Wednesday night if the forecast proved to be right

Cheers Steve - time was moving on and as there were no signs indicating no camping so we went ahead, it was very quiet too, hardly any traffic - so we were lucky to have got away with it by the sound of it!

We continued along the A939 up and over the Lecht - another great bit of road, second time on it and had forgotten just how good it was. We stay on the 939 until we cross over the River Gairn and take a right onto the B976, follow to the end and another right into the A93, through Braemar and up past Glenshee Ski Centre - all fantastic roads and scenery.
From here it was a right turn into the B950,another right into the A924 and ended up in Pitlochry

At the east end of Loch Rannoch, we turn right onto an un-named road that takes us to the junction with the B846 were we turn right and follow the B846 for a few miles before taking another right at Coshieville into another un-named road that runs along the north bank of the River Lyon.
Another left at the Bridge of Balgie into another un-named road that takes us up above the tree line and into the exposed moorland landscape - perfect timing for the rain to start!

The road took us back down to the A827, on the north side of Loch Tay, from here it was a right turn , through Killin, over the Falls of Dochart and on to the A85, a left onto the A85 and post haste to Callander. Gubbo & Heffs bikes were already in the car park.

Thursday morning and the rain was still hanging about, but by the time we got breakfast in the main street and all sorted for the road it had cleared away. Steve & Allan were leaving us later to catch the ferry home from Cairnryan, but before they did they took us on a circuit of some of the roads we covered the previous day - all great biking roads.
After Steve & Allan left, Gubbo, Heff and myself continued on and ended up in Kenmore, on the east side of Loch Tay, the sun was out, so we stopped in Kenmore for a coffee & a bit of rare Scottish sun in our faces. We had planned to catch the ferry at Corran the next day so we would head back towards Glen Coe and aim to stay overnight in that general area.
After coffee it was back on the road and a right turn at the far end of the village onto an un-named road running alongside the southern shore of Loch Tay. It ended back at the Falls of Dochart, where we turned left onto the A85 and on towards Glen Coe. A stop in Crianlarich for some supplies and a weather check, which was not looking good for the evening.
A google search found us an available camping pod on a site at Kinlochleven, so we were sorted with suitable accommodation for the wet night ahead.
