Any trip report that makes me open google maps alongside means top work from yourself! Cheers!
"The weather on departure was looking good" This was a little ominous as an opening though. I think I can see the future!

Re: Spain nil Scotland won
Cheers lads,
So after our food, it was back on the road and continued along the A82 , through Fort William, continued to Invergarry and left onto the A87. We stay on the A87 riding past Loch Cluanie and on towards Shiel Bridge, once again another great road that we had travelled several times in the past & never fails to impress with mountains, lochs and lots of lovely sweeping turns, with a great road surface.
At Shiel Bridge, we turn left onto The Old Military Rd, a single track road that takes you up and over to Glenelg, we were hoping to get the small ferry crossing to Skye, however on arrival a sign told us it was closed until further notice
Not to worry - this was a new area of Scotland for us - so we rode the wee road along the shoreline to its end at Corran

More great views to be had on the way back to Shiel Bridge and the A82.
Got chatting to this couple from London -touring in their van - they prepped us some crepes, lovely treat to have with our coffee

Re: Spain nil Scotland won
So, a weather check was indicating that bad weather was coming in from the west, so we decided to head back to Invergarry and take the A82 along the west side of Loch Ness up to Inverness. After another food stop and purchase of some supplies for our overnight camp, Steve took the lead and we headed east from Inverness towards the Cairngorms. Time was moving on and we still had not found anywhere to camp for the night, however Steve spotted a hopefully suitable site just off the A939, just north of Tomintoul. An interesting site with a strange structure (art) on top.
