Link - I too was enjoying an ice cream when I took this photo.

We rented a cottage in Camusterrach (in a car, sadly) back in the 90’s but had dinner in the pub nearly every night.
Hope it is still as good as it was then plus the sunsets are incredible.
Liked the Highland cattle grazing on the beach when the tide is out.
I think Applecross had the first self serve card pay petrol but I may be wrong.

Yes, I know. It seems crazy dangerous now to ride three up with your toddler and all of you helmetless, but you had to be there. It was absolutely normal in my part of Asia back then.
When we had our second child we rode four up most days.
