what gets me is that
the experts
do not know
. how deadly it is
. how long the incubation period is
. how quickly it spreads
. exactly how it spreads
. if it will become a pandemic
. how to treat and cure it
. if it will mutate

in fact .. they dont know fekk all about it ..
yet world leaders are going to extreme global measures to contain it
despite the fact that it is only 2-5% lethal
and only to the young and elderly and elderly bikers

ah .. that's wot it is then .. the world is concerned about our welfare
how sweet.

what is very serious is the global reaction in the stock exchanges, trade, travel, business, personal relations etc etc

to an outbreak that is relatively mild compared with flu, sars, ebola, malaria, malnutrition, bombing innocent civilians in the east, traffic accidents, .. and MPs expense fraud.

A rather telling press conference this morning had the W.H.O. praising China's robust response and hoping it would be an example.

Fat chance IMHO, western Governments won't be anywhere near as ruthless about it, concerns regarding the economy and P.C. sensibilities over human rights will stop action being taken till after the horse has bolted
