Has anyone on here done all or any of the ACT Portugal as my son and I are considering doing the trails early 2020. Hopefully I will have my Tenere 700 by then but the way things are at the moment that's not looking likely.
I have done a small amount of off road riding but nothing extreme or to difficult so I was wanting to know if anyone had real life experience of the ACT trails who could give me there honest opinion of how they are to ride.
Also if anyone could recommend accommodation along the route it would be appreciated.
Cheers Steve

I did it on my old BMW..... In February 2018.

Easy 5 day trip North to South. It's suitable for any bike...I had no rain though.

Didn't camp but there's plenty of accom nearby. The route is mostly along the Spanish border.

I’ve not heard of the ACT before. Sounds interesting.

Time for a Google search.

Search Touratech ACT. They put their name to 2 other routes, one in Greece and one in Romania, which I plan on doing soon!
I believe some of it crosses/uses the TET.

I didn't see a single bike on the tracks. Cold at night maybe 15C in the day.

That looks interesting. It appeals to have a route set out. Maybe the new Tenere 700 and a Garmin.......and a vibraction Roadbook with a bit of TET.....

So many dreams....

+1 for that sentiment. Give it a go, if you find yourself not liking it enough, go ride somewhere else.
I do know that Portugal offers beautiful scenery and great food at very reasonable, to us Brits, prices.
