Hi is there anything you can have done to a garmen montana 610 to make it proses faster ?

They can be slow indeed the odd time

Try setup, map, map speed and click ‘fast’


In tandem, you could try settings, map, advanced set up , detail and play with less detail that’ll show on screen

Make sure you also have the latest firmware up to date.

A full restore could be a final option if need be.

Os maps have to much detail so can be slow to zoom in and out, move etc
Ofm maps are better and free

Also they get slow when they are so full of data. Save what you want and reset it!

Mine got so full it wouldn’t even start up the map
