This is a great little bike. Too many people are overly focused on engine performance but forget that when you're off road weight matters more. I had a chance to ride this bike (on road only) and found it to be a good choice for the rider who wants something lighter and simpler than the big machines which weight and cost a ton. From what I hear it does alright off the pavement as well. Good for Honda for giving us a choice that doesn't require the re-mortgaging of a house and is beginner friendly as well.

Re: The New Honda CB500X
195kgs for a 500 and you class that as light? I owned one for 12 month and was glad to get shut, awful handling(standard tyres were crap) limited choice of rubber due to wheel sizes, and in standard trim poor off road capabilities, not easy to work on the engine either. Do you get commission from Honda. Far better bikes out there.

The new version has a 19” front wheel, I agree about the weight but Hondas are heavy. It’s the cog that’s really important to me.jinna1961 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:48 pm 195kgs for a 500 and you class that as light?
