GPX Editor got a problem?

GPX Editor one of my favourite tools for knocking up a quick UK route/track seems to have a problem is it only me? When I try to start it from the web it seems to be really slow loading and slows my computer and causes it to work hard. Anyone else experienced this, best not to use it I expect, shame find it real good for my purpose.
