Hi guys,
Picking up my 1290r on Saturday and wondering which is the best GPS/sat nav you guys would recommend for road use as a sat nav but also able to upload off road trails to follow easily.

Also after an intercom/headset that will work via Bluetooth to the bike/phone but also to a second headset for the Mrs on the back.
Needs to be loud enough and wind noise resistant enough for 80/90moh cruising.

Thanks

Garmin for off road tom tom for on. The compromise that does both is the Montana especially if you get a map bundle with it. Can't help with coms as the voices in my head tell me what to do.

I use a Garmin Zumo 590 with Scala Packtalk. Works brilliantly at more than illegal speeds and also able to talk to wife on pillion and music too. You can stream music from phone or sat nav (using a sd-card), I tend to just use the phone as it’s more up to date with what I’ve downloaded.
You can create routes on the sat nav, upload routes from other users or create them on Basecamp and send to your Zumo. Using Basecamp you plan routes for specific days if you’re doing a tour somewhere.
