Picking up my 1290 super adventure r on Saturday and hoping to do a mix of off road, rallies and continental travel.
Going to be picking brains for help and tips!

Enjoy the new ride. Have to meet up for a coffee and chat as Im only in Devon close the Cornish Border. Done a fair few trips over the years and happy to give you any tips without being a know all plus the mistakes I have made along the way.

Hi from the frozen north.
My family all live in Cornwall. I met a Lancashire lads and missed the bus home, 25 yrs ago (where did the time go?!).
You have some cracking roads down there. Enjoy the new bike.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice bike you have there. I went on a rideout with Tim on his 1050 KTM and i asked him if the power was a bit overwhelming off road. He replied "you can limit it in off road setting to 100bhp" Bloody hell i thought,thats more than my Laverda Jota had back in 1982 and that was in power limit mode!!!
