Too much kit

Post by big al »

If your'e like me I allways seem to take too much kit with me when I'm going on a camping trip. I allways say to myself I did'nt use this or that so nex time I'll leave it behind, But then think when I'm off again shall I take it just in case.
Any thoughts.

I wouldn't bother with that empty bottle of jack Daniels

you could pick one up on the way most places sell it :)

The line that stikes a chord is look at all the gear your going to take and lay it out

then take half of it and twice as much money

not sure who said it or wrote it but its probably about right

its easy to take chains, locks, tools spare this and that, and you probably wont need or use and its just us being paranoid

You could swap the gas lantern for a little LED lamp

And that kettle looks a bit on the large side, you could get something like a Trangia Kettle.

That way you won't have to skimp on the alcohol

There is only one problem that I can see.....
You have let someone take up space in your booze locker!

Thanks Guys, I can see where this is going, mmm.
In reply to the big kettle I need lots of tea in the morning and this saves me
time in re boiling the kettle. What with the headache and all.
And the resolve is a good un, Will remember that one for the future.
