My favourite way of getting down to your's is van down with light bikes in the back.......Portsmouth - Caen suit's me best.

Re: JAX SHACK .........FRANCE
There's a few of us loons heading down again in April, absolutely fantastic place to stay, just can't fault it, great trails and guide and you even get a packed lunch to take with you...the banter, beer, wine and absolutely to notch grub and if that's not enough there's the great self contained flat that is Jax Shack, and a massive workshop to boot.
It'll be my 3rd time staying at Jax and definitely won't be the last.

Re: JAX SHACK .........FRANCE
Lots of familiar stuff there.
It's simple really. If you're a biker, and if you want to see some great french countryside, and if you want somewhere comfortable to stay, and if you're looking for a huge range of trails and lanes to ride, and if you want someone experienced to lead the way, and if you need a place to fix your bike, and if you like a swim at the end of the day, and if you want a drink and a natter into the night, and if you want to come home with great memories....
Then it's utter madness to stay anywhere else.
