Hi Folks, new to forums.... Just getting myself sorted for the coming year to get my bike out on the open road. Got my Tiger 800 late march and its running about 6,000 miles on the clock so now its time for some longer trips. Looking at doing some 3 to 5 day runs about Scotland that should give me the experience to go further a field. Still getting the odd bits of kit sorted and getting it all exactly how i want it.
Thought i would join on here see how other folk do it, maybe save myself learning the hard way and even get some trip ideas. I feel pretty confident about most aspecs i have done so far just not actually planned a long trip and followed it yet. Been more jump on bike - ride - stop when tired. I see a few good events through the year so would like to try and plan them in a trip.
Hope to meet new folk on the road / at some events etc
happy biking see you out there

Here's a trip I took in 2016, no camping unfortunately, wish I had now considering how warm it was.
