I am missing the page with the latest posts or most recent posts as we had on the old site.
Is it just me?
How about having this back? Seems hard to find out what's currently going on without it.

I think you need to click on quick links on the top right and then active topics.

There a "New Posts or "Active Posts " in the drop down menu top right if it helps?

Active topics (the same as recent posts from the old forum) can be seen by clicking the link circled in the screenshot below.
