That's another one done but I'm far from recovered, I'm feeling the pace nowadays.
Friday dawned sunny and dry which took some believing but we'll take it so a leisurely drive over to the bunkhouse in the van with the bbq and provisions and get set up, fridge stocked, chat farming with the bunkhouse owner, all very civilised. It never lasts!
Stewie was arriving as i headed home to grab the bike so a swift hello, few directions to somewhere he could source some beer (is that all these lot think about?) and i continued on. Quick vehicle swap and back to the bunkhouse. How nice it is to be local for once a year, very chilled out
StevieD arrived so the three of us would have a couple of hours out on the bikes, give me chance to ride one of the new lanes I'd not done yet. All was going well until a crazed loon in a mazda stopped us, fortunately for him but unfortunately for us i knew him, my good mate and ABC newbie, Mickey Luv who was lost on his way to the bunkhouse in his car as a bust collarbone ruled him out of riding. No chance i could direct him from there so we cut short the ride and led him to the pub, a poor second best
The rest of the lads had arrived by now so we stood around catching up, meeting the new guys, having a beer while Tea007, a surprise arrival looked after the bbq. There were a few walkers staying in the barn so we got them involved, fed and watered them then generally took the piss for the rest of the night. A cracking way to start the meeting.
Il do Saturdays events tonight
Cheers, Scoob.

Re: ABC North Yorks
So another awesome wkd with the ABC CREW
So glad I made the decision to get out my bed early on Friday and go north.
So just over 800 hundred miles and 14 hours travelling there and back but worth it
Good to meet some FNG's
Well done scoob and cowling for great wkd
