Well sold my gsxr 750 and for some reason I now have a ktm 450 exc to go with my gsa and zx10r
One problem is got to get a side stand

The EXC side stand is temperamental should we say?
The mounting point is held on with 2 bolts and goes onto some brackets on the frame, 1 bolt goes through the chain slider and 2 brackets, the other goes through the remaining bracket.
The bolts come loose, people use the stand to climb onto the bike and eventually one or more of the brackets bends/breaks.
So make sure the bracket nuts are tight and the spacer is fitted in the chain slider, then make sure there isn't too much slop in the pivot point.
I've had 2 EXC's, on the first one the stand was to upright and the bike would topple one way or the other so I had to bend it out a bit, my current one the stand is too far forward and the bike leans over loads so I've got to sort it somehow and I've haven't decided how yet.
If you buy one get the kit that has the pivot and bolt etc included.
