Hi There,
I know that it's a clash of dates with the HUBB rally, but is anyone else (other than me),
going on the DMTC Riders Rally? I have just moved to Ireland and thought that the RR would be
a good way to see the country without having to plan the route myself.
(And I've been to HUBB rally's in Australia before, so thought I'd take the other option)
Or will I be the one ABR hanging out with Harley and Goldwing riders?
Luke

Right as there were no responses, I shall answer my own post.
I attended this even and it was fantastic, extremely well organised and a couple of good,
long days in the saddle. There was a range of bikes from CB500X to KLR650 to R1200GS and all manner in-between.
No trails as such, but some of the smaller Irish roads have grass growing in the middle of them,
so that probably counts as off road in some peoples book.
All the other riders were super friendly and there was always someone to have a drink with at the overnight stops.
Well done DMTC, I will be aiming to attend next years event.

Yeah it was pretty good alright.
Unsure of the exact numbers but I'm guessing about 100? Riders in total.

You took your hedge trimmers on the bike, and had time to spruce up the village, outstanding ;)

I even put on my best sleeveless t-shirt for the picture.
